Ova Topoteka nastala je u okviru projekta They: Live - Students live revealed through context-based art practices (http://theylive.eu/) koji se bavi studentskim životom od Drugog svjetskog rata do danas u kontekstu svakodnevnog života u studentskim domovima, kulturnih navika i slobodnog vremena studenata, meÄuljudskih odnosa i odnosa meÄu spolovima, kao i druÅ¡tvenog i politiÄkog angažiranja studenata.
Cilj projekta je poticanje studentske populacije da sudjeluje u razumijevanju i zajedniÄkom kreiranju suvremene umjetnosti koriÅ¡tenjem arhivskoga gradiva i ukljuÄivanjem u pariticipatvne umjetniÄke aktivnosti tijekom boravka umjetnika u studentskim domovima.
Nositelj projekta je Dom kulture Studentski grad iz Beograda, a kao partneri se uz ICARUS Hrvatska pridružuju Institut za savremenu umjetnost iz Cetinja, Akademija primjenjih umjetnosti iz Rijeke i Facultat de Ciencias da la Comunicaton Universidad Rey Juan Carlos Madrid. Pridruženi partneri na projektu su Institut fur Kunst im Kontext - Universtat der Kunste Berlin i Centar za primenjenu istoriju iz Beograda. Projektne aktivnosti zapoÄele su u rujnu 2020. a zavrÅ¡etak projekta je planiran u veljaÄi 2023.
The international project "They: Live - student lives revealed through context-based art practicestakes place from September 2020 to February 2023 and it is realised within the framework of the EU Creative Europe Programme for Culture and media. Beside the project leader - Student's City Cultural Centre from Belgrade, the partners on the project are ICARUS Croatia (ICARUS HR) from Zagreb, the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) from Cetinje, the Academy of Applied Arts from Rijeka (APURI) and the Faculty of Audiovisual Communication at the King Juan Carlos University (URJC) from Madrid. The assovciate partners on the project are the Institute of Art in Context from the Berlin Art University and the Centre for Public History from Belgrade.
The project researchers have noticed that the history of student lives has been underrepresented in the wider historiographical discourse and wanted to adress that shortcoming. Therefore, the future collection profile has already been outlined in advance through 6 topics dealing with campus-related student life; everyday student life, campus-related life, cultural habits and free time, interpersonal relations, gender relations and socio-political engagement.
